Your Love, Your Lives, Your Commitment
The vows and promises you make to each other on the day you formalise your physical, emotional, and legal commitment to one another in a Civil Union are as strong and as deeply meaningful as those made in a wedding ceremony.
How you celebrate your Union is yours to decide: it may be a simple affair in your own garden, with your immediate family present – or it may be an extravaganza of love and commitment with a cast of thousands. Or, indeed, something in between those two examples.
Whatever you choose to be an appropriate celebration of your Civil Union, there are still some formal and legal requirements. As your celebrant, I will work with you to accommodate all your plans, and to take you through the legalities – and do so in the spirit of your celebration.
My undertaking to you is simple: I fully understand that your day of celebrating your love and your life is totally unique, and I will do everything in my ability to ensure that the part I play is as successful as the future you have planned for yourselves, and each other.
